Gerda Geddes
  Gerda Geddes was a wonderful person whose life revolved 
  around psychology, dance and almost 60 years of dedication to 
  Tai Chi. She trained in China and was the first person to bring Tai 
  Chi to the UK. Nicolette was Gerda’s last student before her death 
  in 2006.
  In 1991, Gerda authored the book, “Looking for the Golden 
  Needle”; which inspired the name of this website. In her book, she 
  talks about the symbolism of Tai Chi and especially how it relates 
  to our journey through life. Gerda also has a DVD, “Understanding 
  Tai Chi Ch'uan”.
  A second autobiographically book was published in July 2008 and 
  is called “Dancer in the Light”.
